Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique Heat-Activated
Reconstructor Milk Level 1-4 is a heat protective milk for weakened hair. Hair
that is weakened and damaged suffers from a loss of intercellular cement
causing it to break easily. I’ve been using the resistance range for a little
while now to try and revive my bleached frazzled hair and I definitely feel as
if it has salvaged it! Only because I ran out of this magic stuff and though
hmmm I’m going to leave it for a few weeks and boy did I notice that
difference! After a few wash my hair felt weak and really fragile again – it
also felt particularly rough! So I flocked to get this again and ahhh my hair
is back to its (as soft as it can get for being thoroughly bleached) self!
Rimmel Lasting Perfection Cream foundation compact provides traceless coverage,
undetectable in any light. Lasts all day. I must say it does do as it says on
the tin – it is a light cream foundation, which sits on the skin very nicely.
The coverage I’d say is light to medium but buildable, with this foundation
I’ve found you have to build up slowly. It does banish shine on the t-zone for
me for the full day and the compact has a cute little mirror and sponge which
is always a bonus for the handbag! I like this foundation, but it just doesn’t
stand out that much for me as much as the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.
Okay so this PedEgg is the purchase I’ve been thinking about for a
while but quite frankly have been terrified to use it. It looks like a tiny
cheese grater; essentially that’s what it is guys. You grate this over your
hard calloused heels and don’t get me wrong it makes me cringe but the outcome
is fantastic. I’ve even used it on my hard knees (cringe) and the result really
is worth the cringe. It is 100% painless, obviously unless you thoroughly
overdo it but I think that’s hard to do and you’ll realise this before you get
to that point! It is described to have 135 micro files that remove hard skin
and callouses quickly and effectively, and last but not least painlessly. Okay,
I agree with this and I think im addicted.
So my hands feel like tree bark. I hate that about my hands,
I used to suffer from eczema as a child and feel like I’ve been left with just
unbelievably unattractive dry hands. So of course I reached for LUSH’s Helping
Hands hand cream packed with cocoa butter, almond oil and chamomile to ‘give
back some life’ to your hands. Okay well
this hand cream is the one and beats my Soap & Glory Hand Food without a
doubt. I actually genuinely forgot how good this bad boy is, it smells
delicious, is rich, soaks in quickly and really doesn’t leave your hands
greasy. It does leave a silky soft texture to your hands, but who on earth in
the world doesn’t want silky soft skin?
Putty For Your Hands is a fairly new product from LUSH and
is supposed to replace your average hand soap, for dry sensitive skin. It
contains soothing ingredients like oats, glycerine and marshmallow to soothe
and cleanse sensitive skin! Wowza! The assistant in Lush took a big chunk of
this and slathered it on my hands and oh golly gosh the result is incredible.
You rinse this stuff off and it feels like you have handcream on already. I’m a
one for the eczema patches to crop up on my hands and I definitely feel like
this stuff is keeping it at bay, hallelujah! Paired with helping hands baby my
hands are in repair.
